John Malone, Artist and Educator

Mr. Malone is a graduate of the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design University(NSCAD) , Halifax NS. He has a bachelor of Fine Arts Degree with a major in Painting and a minor in Art History.

He also holds a degree in Art Education from NSCAD and teaches senior high art at public school with the Halifax Regional School Board. Mr. Malone continues to be employed by NSCAD www.nscad.ns.ca/en/home/alumnifriends  as a continuing education instructor in drawing and painting .John is also a long time member of Visual Arts Nova Scotia at the following link http://vans.ednet.ns.ca/ where he has served on the eduacation committee and has participated in past Artists in the School projects.

This year John has been chosen by a jury of his peers to participate in the Halifax Art Map Studio Rally. By appointment you may visit his home and view numerous paintings he has for sale. This summer you might be treated to seeing John at work at home on several works he has in progress. Locally he is represented by the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia's Art Sales and Rental in Halifax NS. Mr. Malone has been the recipient of scholarships and grants related to his art education practice as well as his art work which is in both public and private collections. He has an extensive exhibitions record (see the "About Us" section for his exhibitions record)

 Mr Malone sells  both original paintings, and a limited selection of  prints. He also accepts commissions . *See about us
