Reviews:
1996 The Art of Firefighting by Greg Bennett, Yarmouth Vanguard, May 10th
1995 The Truth about Self Portraits by Maria Kubacki, Times Globe (Saint John NB.) section B, page 7
Clients have repeatedly commisioned John to do portraits of the special moments in their lives. From paintings of vacation photos, new borns, weddings and honoring special people and pets postumously.
John has painted cottages, motorcycles, cars and yachts, and is constantly looking for new artistic challenges. Perhaps someone has a unique idea yet to be commisioned. One client had John paint he and his wife as the couple in the famous work "American Gothic"
The turn around time for a painting from comission to take home for an acrylic painting can be as short as a week depending on the complexity of the work involved.
Consultation and quotes are given full consideration and John is willing to work with the client until they are fully satisfied with the final product. If a client is not satisfied neither is John.
Mr. Malone's paintings have been collected by the "Nova Scotia Department of Tourism , Culture and Heritage's Art Bank", the "Gallery at City Hall" Moncton NB, "The Nova Scotia Firefighters Museum" Yarmouth NS. as well as many private collections regionally, nationally, and internationally.
